Support & Help

This Support & Help page explains the different types of McKenzie Friend support available to parents involved in family court proceedings.

Family court can feel overwhelming — especially when you are dealing with deadlines, uncertainty, and emotional pressure at the same time.

How I Support Parents in the Family Court

My role is to help you prepare, organise, and present your case clearly and calmly.

I do not replace a solicitor. I support you practically and emotionally so you can engage with the court process confidently and without unnecessary stress.

This includes help with structure, consistency, evidence-based presentation, and managing pressure during proceedings.

Choosing the Right Starting Point

If you are unsure where to start, that is normal.

Many parents begin with Cafcass support, then move into Child Arrangements Order preparation as the case progresses. Others come to me after a hearing has already taken place.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
