Rosie’s path to becoming a McKenzie Friend started in 2015, during a difficult child arrangements case<\/a> involving her son. After paying around \u00a32,000 to solicitors and discovering the paperwork they’d prepared was full of mistakes, she made the decision to represent herself instead. A judge later praised the quality of her written submissions compared to experienced barristers \u2014 a moment that gave her real confidence in her ability, and she went on to secure the outcome she wanted for her child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before this, Rosie had trained at Cambridge University in neuroscience and medicine, and worked as a surgeon \u2014 experience that taught her to stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly with people at difficult moments. She later moved into business before combining all of this experience into her McKenzie Friend<\/a> work today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rosie now focuses on child arrangement cases<\/a>, aiming to help parents reach fair, peaceful resolutions rather than prolonged conflict<\/a>.
